Manchester United edge out Tottenham in the race for League One wonderkid

The class of 92’ has always encouraged Manchester United to invest in youngster. They have been doing so since a very long time and during this coronavirus pandemic, they have found a way to scout young talent.

The Red Devils are scouting Sunderland prodigy Joe Hugill and are ahead in the race against Tottenham Hotspur who is doing the same.

Hugill is considered as one of the most promising youngster in England and has already appeared for the club’s under 23 side though he is only 16.

Manchester United are in talks with the League One team and are presumed to be paying a six-figure deal which looking at the situation of financial crisis is increasingly amazing.

The news comes in as a huge blow to Spurs who had sent their top scout Ian Broomfield to watch Hugill just before the days of lockdown. United have smartly taken the advantage of the situation and are leading the race.

Manchester United already have a Sunderland talent in Logan Pye under their belt and are in hot shape of buying his teammate.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is remaking United bit by bit. He has focussed on acquiring various youthful promising players as he looks to revamp an establishment that has rotted over the couple of years.

Hugill isn’t the main youngster the Red Devils are enthused about. They are additionally observing Aston Villa starlet Carney Chukwuemeka. The player has been called as the best 16-year-old in England by Villa CEO Christian Purslow
