Emerson Palmieri’s time at Stamford Bridge so far, arguably, hasn’t been the best of moments for his career based on individual assessment.
Since the 25-year-old arrived at Chelsea in January 2018 from AS Roma, in a deal worth around €29 million, the Italy International left-back (who can also play as a left wing-back and as a left midfielder) has often been a bit-part player at the club, while mostly been outshone by Marcos Alonso.
His lack of game time at the club has attracted some speculations on the possibility of finding another club where he can earn a regular playing time.
According to some reports emanating from Italy, it has been rumoured that Juventus, Inter and Napoli are said to be interested in his services. With the interests for his services gaining some weight, it might spell the end of his journey at Stamford bridge.
And considering the news about Chelsea’s interest in Porto’s left back Alex Telles, after it was also revealed that he joined up with agent Pini Zahavi, who is said to be a close friend to Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich.
This has surely come as an indication that a move for the Porto left back might be on the card this summer and spell the end for Emerson’s Chelsea career.
