According to report from the Telegraph, it is understood that some German clubs are showing serious interest in Arsenal’s starlet Bukayo Saka, who will be having a year left on his contract after the end of current season.

German clubs are now increasingly getting more interested in signing young starlets from the English league team after the success story of Serge Gnabry, Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson (while on loan at Hoffeinham).

Both Gnabry and Sancho are presently taking the Bundesliga by storm and their move from the EPL to the Germany has paved the way for the English league to become a talent spot for the German clubs.

And the latest interest from German clubs on Bukayo Saka looks more like what should be taken seriously.

Arsenal fans are still been hurt by the sale of Gnabry, whom many fans think wasn’t given enough chances to make an impression in the first team. Though Gnabry was sent on loan at one point in time to get some first team experience but the move never yielded good result, coupled with some injury problems here and there.

With the latest interest on Bukayo Saka and the fact that his current deal will be less than a year left after this summer, it will be a huge blow to the club if they fail to get him sign an extension to his contract.

Bukayo Saka is currently having his breakthrough season in a weird fashion based on the obvious fact that he has mostly featured in an unfamiliar position at the left back.

He has been able to steady the ship at the left back position after the regular players at the position has failed to be injury free since the beginning of the season. This has given Saka more opportunity to get more first team games and announce himself to the world, which he has done perfectly well.

His output has been great. Having 10 assists in all competitions, has drawn a lot of praises from the media and fans all over the world.

The potential Saka possesses as a versatile player who can play comfortably at the left back, wing-back and primarily as a winger, has shown how talented and important the 18-years-old player means to the club.

Fans are hoping to hear about the extension of his deal so that Saka can fulfill his potential at the club and avoid the Gnabry type of story. A long-term contract extension for Bukayo Saka should and will be the Arsenal priority once everything resumes to normal.
