In-form newcomers, Norwich City travel to Burnley on matchday six of the 2019/20 Premier League season on Saturday. This will be the very first time both teams are facing-off in the league.
Having surprised last season’s champions, Manchester City last weekend, the Canaries will be hoping for another cruising victory against the Clarets.
Sean Dyche’s side are also coming into the game from a disappointing 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion. They currently lie 14th on the league table.
Burnley have only lost one of their last nine league meetings with Norwich (W6 D2), with all of these matches coming in the Championship between 2006 and 2011.
This will be the first ever Premier League meeting between Burnley and Norwich – their last encounter in the top-flight was in January 1976, with Norwich winning 3-1 at Carrow Road.
Burnley have won their last four Premier League games against newly-promoted teams, having won just four of their first 20 such games in the competition (W4 D9 L7).
Norwich City have lost 15 of their last 17 away games in the Premier League (2), losing their last five on the road, while also conceding six goals in their last two matches in 2019/20.
In their last meeting in the English FA Cup, Norwich came up on top winning by four goals to one against Burnley.

Johann Gudmundsson could return for Burnley having been sidelined with a calf injury. Chelsea loanee Daniel Drinkwater is out with the ankle injury sustained in a nightclub brawl.
Daniel Farke has injury concerns, with Timm Klose, Christoph Zimmermann, Onel Hernandez, Tom Trybull and Max Aarons still long-term absentees.
Moritz Leitner and Mario Vrancic are also doubts for game, although Patrick Roberts is available for selection.
