This article is for all those esteemed Fantasy Premier League managers scouting a perfect squad for upcoming week. A long break with no Premier League is fine but one without Fantasy Premier League is nightmarish.
For the next week, Tammy Abraham is the best buy. Chelsea face Wolverhampton Wanderers and in what can be a high-scoring endeavour, the one to score from Blues will be this ‘abused on social media’ youngster from Chelsea, Tammy Abraham.
Trusted by Frank Lampard and by only him, Tammy has brought laurels in the pocket of his manager and saved his tenure that could have ended before it even began. What’s the cost of Tammy Abraham, only £7.1 million. And what’s the return? Twice as good as investing in Giroud or any other Chelsea player, right now.
The 21-year-old has amassed awful lot of points for the Fantasy managers and with five goals already under his belt, he would surely crave for more. Tammy has come up from Championship where he was on loan for Aston Villa and has scored a whopping 26 goals, second best after Pukki’s 29 in last season.
Both Pukki and Abraham have had a start of their lifetime in Premier League 2019/20 but for me it us Abraham who takes the podium. Pukki may have been far above exemplary but the recent fixtures of Norwich suggest a dull affair for the Striker in green and yellow.
Tammy, on the other hand, has the power to overshadow every defence coming his way and more than that from a Fantasy point of view, Tammy also takes a lot of shots in the penalty area.
His hunger for goal is never utilised and the more he plays, the more he wants to score. Playing with an attacking squad and more ruthless partners, Abraham can surely score a goal or two this weekend too.
