Manchester United have reportedly held talks with FC Barcelona over the transfer of Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add Ivan Rakitic to his squad as he looks for revival of Red Devils in the upcoming season.

The Reds from Manchester are linked with Rakitic for a long time now (although none of those links sounded quite serious) but Mark Edwood may get his man this summer especially with the Catalan side keen to boost their pursuit for the likes of De Ligt and Greizemann.

Rakitic joined the Barcelona from Sevilla back in 2014 and since has established his place in the Barca first team scoring 24 goals in 170 appearances for the club.

The Croatian isn’t keen on leaving Camp Nou although big contract would tempt him to move on from the reds and blues, with them not soo keen om offering Ivan big money contract as of now.

With Manchester United, Inter Milan also stand interested party as Antonio Conte looks for preparing his Milan to compete with Juventus next season.
